Keywords, stop words, and "What to check for leads"

Before a message reaches the AI - and before it costs you a credit - it goes through free filters. In v2 there are three of them: keywords, stop words, and minimum length. Order of checks 1. Stop words - if there is at least one stop word → the message is discarded right away, for free. 2. Minimum words in a message - messages that are too short ("+1", "thanks", "up") are not sent for analysis and cost nothing. Configured separately for each channel on the "Where to look" step. 3. Keywords - by default the AI looks only at messages that contain your words; the rest are skipped for free. 4. AI check - whatever passes the filters is read by the AI: 1 credit per message, regardless of the verdict. Without AI (an empty micro-prompt) keyword matches become "raw" signals at 0 credits. "What to check for leads" - two modes The toggle on the "What to look for" step: - "Only messages with my words" (default) - the AI looks only at messages that contain your keywords; the rest are skipped at no cost. The wizard names the downside honestly: if someone describes their task in different words, we will not see them. How to broaden your words depends on the channel - see below. - "Every message" - the AI reads every message in the selected chats, even without your words. It finds more, but each message read costs 1 credit, even if it is not a lead. 💡 Tip: start with "Only messages with my words". Turn on "Every message" in narrow, topic-specific chats where almost every message is potentially yours. Keywords: the rules are DIFFERENT for different channels Telegram: words are matched inside the message text - case-insensitively and as part of other words ("repair" also matches "repairs"). Intent phrases work well here too: "any recommendations", "who does", colloquial variants. Threads, Reddit, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Bluesky, Hacker News: the word goes into the platform's own SEARCH - and a phrase almost never finds anything there. Measured on live campaigns (10.08.2026): five phrases returned 61 posts and ZERO leads; five single nouns returned 50 posts and three leads. The rule: one unambiguous word per key, with inflected forms as separate keys ("repair", "repairs", "repairing") rather than as a phrase. The wizard hints at this right on the keywords step depending on the channels you selected, and the weekly review in the bot names the specific dead word. The wizard also suggests recommended words - look through the list and remove what you do not need. Several words separated by spaces are ONE phrase, not a list: separate them with Enter or a comma. Stop words The same matching mechanism, but in reverse: one hit and the message is discarded for free. Short roots also catch derived words - be careful with them. What to add: irrelevant context ("looking for a job", "rent" - if you are about sales), competitor names, the typical noise of your chats. Where the "scenario" went In v1 there was a "seekers / sellers / both" preset. In v2 its role is played by the analysis micro-prompt - one or two sentences about who counts as a lead ("looking for a contractor for a renovation", "offering media buying services"). This is more precise than a preset: you tell the AI exactly what you meant. The article "The analysis AI prompt and the Improve button" is right next to this one in the same section.

Channels in a campaign: where we search

The Where to look step defines a campaign's sources. You can pick several channels at once - signals from all of them land in one shared feed. Clicking a channel card opens its settings window immediately. The Done button saves them; Cancel removes a channel you have just added from the selection. To remove a channel you already chose, press the cross on its card. Telegram What we watch First pick a mode: - Chats - we look for people in the groups your account has joined. A message like that becomes a lead you can reply to. - Channel posts - we watch posts in the channels your account follows. These are news on your topic, not leads: a post has no human author, so there is nothing to reply to. - Both - leads from groups and news from channels in one campaign. The two source lists stay separate. Choosing sources Pick a Telegram account (if there is only one, it is selected for you) and tick the chats you need. Use the search field - next to each chat you can see the number of members or subscribers. âš ī¸ Important: the list shows only the chats the connected account is already in. To add a new chat, join it in Telegram first, then refresh the list. If there is no account Telegrin offers to connect one and brings you back to this same step - the campaign draft is kept. You cannot move on without a connected account. Threads A connected Threads account is needed both to create a campaign and to publish replies. The settings window shows which account the campaign will run from. There are no separate sources here - the source is your keywords, the ones you added on the first step. âš ī¸ Important: without a connected account the wizard will let you move on, but you will not be able to launch the campaign. Connect Threads in advance: Settings → Accounts. LinkedIn Nothing to connect. The search runs across all of LinkedIn using your keywords. You can narrow it with two filters on the post's author: - Author industries - chosen from the LinkedIn industry catalog; - Author companies - free text entry of names. 💡 Tip: filters are applied before credits are spent - posts that fail them cost you nothing. This is the most effective way to save on LinkedIn: leave the filters empty only when your audience really does come from any industry. â„šī¸ Note: the company comes from the LinkedIn profile - these are current, and sometimes former, employees. The filter is precise, but not perfect. Reddit Nothing to connect. The search runs on your keywords. The main setting is Subreddits. Name the communities to search in. âš ī¸ Important: an empty list means searching all of Reddit - the AI checks far more posts, so it uses more credits (one credit per post the AI checks). Name 3-5 relevant subreddits - precision goes up and costs go down. X (Twitter) Nothing to connect. The search runs across all of X using your keywords - just like LinkedIn and Reddit. Telegrin drafts the reply, but you post it yourself: the AI writes the text, you copy it and reply on X. â„šī¸ Note: this channel is available on the same plans as LinkedIn and Reddit. Bluesky Nothing to connect - Telegrin searches Bluesky from its own side. The source is your keywords. The AI drafts the reply and you post it yourself. This channel is available on any plan. Hacker News Nothing to connect. The search runs on your keywords through the official Hacker News search. The AI drafts the reply and you post it yourself. This channel is available on any plan. How many channels to take at the start Start with one or two. When there are only a few sources, it is easy to see where the good signals come from and where the noise does. You can add a channel to a running campaign at any time through Edit. âš ī¸ Important: you cannot remove the last channel from a campaign - a campaign needs at least one source. If you need to stop the search, move the campaign to the archive. What to do if a channel is unavailable Sometimes a channel card is inactive and carries a badge about the plan required or a temporary unavailability. Telegrin explains the reason under the channel grid. The other channels keep working as usual.

Agents in a campaign

The Agents step decides who processes the messages that are found. A campaign can also run with no agents at all. Two options at the start The step opens with two mutually exclusive cards: - Continue without agents. The campaign runs on keywords alone. If the micro-context is empty, this is completely free for Telegram; if it is filled in, AI checks the message for 1 credit. - Set up agents. A list opens from which you can attach an analyst, a responder and a deliverer. Until you pick one of the two, the Next button stays inactive. The agent list Once you choose Set up agents, you will see collapsed groups: - Analysts - score every message and filter out the noise; - Responders - write replies and comments; - Deliverers - send approved leads to your CRM or messenger; - Our templates - ready-made agents you can attach right away, with no setup. The groups are collapsed on purpose: each has a one-line description above it, so you can usually decide without expanding the list. An agent that is already attached is visible even in a collapsed group. At the bottom of each category there is a create your own row - it opens the new-agent form with the type already selected. Press Details on an agent row to see its prompt, channels and behaviour. Agents that do not fit the channels If an agent only works in channels this campaign does not include, it does not disappear - it moves into a separate collapsed group with an explanation of which channels it works in. Such an agent does not block the launch: the campaign starts, that agent simply will not work in it until you add its channel. How many agents you need Typical combinations: | Goal | What to attach | | --- | --- | | As cheap as possible, you review the stream yourself | No agents | | Remove the noise, reply by hand | Analyst | | Remove the noise and get ready-made drafts | Analyst + responder | | Full automation in Telegram and Threads | Analyst + responder with automatic sending on | | Leads should land in your CRM | Add a deliverer | 💡 Tip: at the start an analyst and a responder are enough. Attach a deliverer once the stream is stable and it is clear what should be passed on. One agent can work in several campaigns - there is no need to create a copy for each. Telegram alerts for this campaign In the same place, next to the agent list, there is a Telegram alerts for this campaign switch - the lead card lands in the bot. It is on by default. The switch works per campaign: noisy campaigns can be muted while alerts stay on for the important ones. â„šī¸ Note: if the bot is not connected yet, Telegrin offers to do it right here. The bot subscription is personal - it does not affect your colleagues. If the agent list is unavailable Sometimes, instead of a list, you see a message saying this workspace's agents are not available yet. This is not a settings problem: the campaign can be launched on keywords alone, and agents attached later through Edit. Changing agents after launch Open the campaign → Edit → the Agents step. Changes apply to new messages; signals that have already been processed are not re-checked.

Budgets, check frequency and launch

The last step of the wizard is Limits and launch. Here you set your spending ceiling, the check frequency, and decide whether to look into the past. Daily budgets A credit limit per day for each channel separately. An empty field means no limit. When a channel's daily spend reaches the limit, the campaign stops spending credits until the next day, and then carries on by itself. 💡 Tip: for your first campaign on an external channel (LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Bluesky, Hacker News), set a small daily limit. It is insurance against a keyword that is too broad finding hundreds of posts overnight. Pause between checks - Telegram needs no checking: we listen to chats live, and a message reaches the feed immediately. - Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Bluesky and Hacker News are checked on a schedule. Pick a frequency: every 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 hours. Alongside it, Telegrin shows how many checks per day that frequency works out to. âš ī¸ Important: a credit is charged only for a post the AI checks. A check that finds nothing is free, so frequency barely affects your spend. Every 2-4 hours is usually quite enough: people rarely delete their posts within the hour. â„šī¸ Note for Threads: the available frequencies depend on how many keywords you have - Meta limits the number of searches per day. With many keywords the frequent options become inactive, and Telegrin tells you how many keywords the chosen frequency supports. There is no need to cut keywords - it is enough to check less often. Scan the last 24 hours A single switch, on by default. - On - at launch, Telegrin checks the past day's activity across every channel in the campaign and finds leads you may have missed. It spends credits on what it finds. - Off - we only watch new activity, with no past scan and no extra spend. 💡 Tip: leave it on for your first campaign - that way you see a result straight away rather than in a few hours. For test campaigns with broad keywords it is better to switch it off. Minimum spend and the price of a post Two reference blocks that show the economics of the campaign before it even launches: - Minimum spend - checks that find nothing are free; you pay only for the posts the AI checks. - What one post costs - which parts the price is made of: collecting and the AI check. The exact number of posts cannot be predicted in advance - it depends on how many people write something matching your keywords. Auto-pause when nothing is found After 12 empty checks in a row, the campaign pauses itself and you get a notification about it. This almost always means the keywords are too narrow, or phrased differently from how people actually write. Review the list, use the Suggest keywords button and start the campaign again. Summary and launch The right-hand column gathers everything: keywords, stop words, micro-context, channels and agents. Check it and press Launch campaign. If one of the attached agents only works in channels the campaign does not include, Telegrin warns you about it. This is not an error - the campaign will launch, that agent simply will not work in it. How long until you see results - Telegram - the first signals within minutes, as soon as a matching message appears in the selected chats. - External channels - the first check runs immediately after the campaign is created, then on the schedule you chose. - If scanning the last 24 hours was switched on, the past day's results arrive gradually.

Managing a campaign: pause, edit, archive

The Campaigns section shows all your searches. The Active and Archive tabs switch between lists. What you see on a campaign card - The name, the status and the channel icons; - the campaign's keywords; - the numbers for the period: how many were found, how many became leads, how many were not a fit, how many were replied to, how many are waiting for you; - how many AI filtered out - as a separate muted counter; - the attached agents; - Spent today - how many credits went out and what the daily limit is. If there were no finds in the period, instead of numbers Telegrin states the reason in plain words: scanning, no results yet; nothing found - check your keywords; stopped because the scans came back empty. â„šī¸ Note: one person can land in several campaigns, so the numbers from different cards cannot be added up - for the overall picture, look at Home. Statuses | Status | What it means | | --- | --- | | Active | The campaign is running | | Paused | Temporarily stopped - manually or automatically | | Draft | The wizard was not finished; the campaign is not running yet | | Archived | Stopped and removed from the active list | Pausing and resuming In the campaign menu (the three-dots button) - Pause or Resume. Pausing stops the search but deletes nothing: the leads found, the conversations and the settings all stay in place. Resuming puts the campaign back to work with its current settings. A campaign can also pause by itself: - after 12 empty checks in a row in an external channel; - if you disconnect the Telegram account it was running through; - the test campaign created at sign-up pauses after its first run - that is by design. Editing The Edit button opens the same four-step wizard. You can move between steps in any order, and a Save changes button appears at the bottom. Everything can be changed: keywords, stop words, micro-context, the set of channels and their settings, agents, budgets and check frequency. In the right-hand column Telegrin shows a What will change block - a summary of your edits before saving. While there are no changes, the save button stays inactive. âš ī¸ Important: new keywords start working from the next messages onward. Messages that have already been scanned are not re-checked, so adding a word does not go back and search yesterday. What cannot be changed - Removing the last channel. A campaign needs at least one source - if you need to stop the search, use the archive. - Adding the same channel twice. A channel appears in a campaign once. The campaign page Clicking the name opens the campaign with four tabs: - Overview - spent today and the full keyword list; - Sources - the campaign's channels with their price and status; - Agents - the attached agents and how they behave in this campaign; - Limits - daily budgets per channel and how much has been spent today. Archive The Archive menu item stops the campaign and removes it from the active list. Leads found earlier stay in the feed and the pipeline. From the Archive tab a campaign can be restored. After restoring it will be paused - check the settings and start it manually. â„šī¸ Note: there is no separate delete for campaigns, and that is deliberate: the archive keeps the history of spend and of the leads found, and deleting would make those statistics incomplete. Drafts If you leave the wizard without finishing the setup, the campaign is saved as a draft and appears at the top of the list with a hint about which step you stopped at. You can Continue setup or Delete draft.

Tracking your own posts

A separate type of campaign: Telegrin collects everyone who engaged with your own posts in Telegram and Threads - on Telegram a reaction or a reply, on Threads a reply. Each of them becomes a lead you can message. âš ī¸ Important: this mode works in Telegram and Threads. On Telegram we collect both reactions and replies - it is the one channel that names exactly who reacted. On Threads we collect replies only: Threads names who replied to your post, but not who reacted. On LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Bluesky and Hacker News post engagement is not available - there you only get counters without names. How to create one Go to Campaigns → the Track your own posts button. This is a simple form, not a wizard. 1. Name - for example, "channel posts, July". 2. Account - engagement is read through it, so it has to see the posts: a Telegram account for Telegram posts, a Threads account for Threads posts. 3. Post links - one per line, in the format https://t.me/channel/123. To get a link, open the post in Telegram and tap Copy link. Below the field, Telegrin counts how many posts you have added. 4. Collect people who already engaged - how far back to pull existing activity: 1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days. The default is 7. After that we watch for new reactions in real time. 5. What to do with people who engage - two options (below). 6. Press Start tracking. What to do with people who engage - Just collect them - people land in the Feed and the Pipeline, and you write to them yourself. - Draft a reply - AI prepares the text and you send it with a button on the card. A required field appears, What the reply should say - describe what the message should be about. â„šī¸ Note: sending without confirmation is not set up in this form - you turn it on in the campaign's responder agent. Groups and channels: an important difference - In groups both reactions and replies are collected. - In channels Telegram does not show who left a reaction - only the channel admins see that. So from channels we collect replies (comments) only. What it costs - A reaction is free. There is no text in it, AI does not read it, no credit is charged. - A text reply goes through an AI check like any other message, if AI processing is on in the campaign. - A generated reply to a lead costs 1 credit. In other words, a campaign that simply collects the people who reacted runs practically for free. Limits A campaign can track up to 50 posts; on the trial plan, up to 10. When this makes sense - You publish content and want to work with the people who respond to it. - Your audience is more likely to like and comment than to post a direct request. - You published a request-style post ("looking for a contractor for...") and are collecting those who replied. 💡 Tip: a reaction is a weaker signal of intent than a direct request in a chat. Do not send these leads hard sales messages: it is better to start by asking whether the topic is of interest in more detail. Posts published earlier You can track any post that is already published - a link is all you need. Publishing a new post through Telegrin is not part of this form: publish it in Telegram the usual way first, then add the link here.

Confidence score and escalation

The AI gives every checked message a confidence score: how closely it matches your lead as described in the micro-context. The score decides what happens to the message. Three zones | Confidence | What happens | | --- | --- | | Below the analyst threshold (50 by default) | No signal is created at all - the message is filtered out as irrelevant. It never reaches the Feed and is counted on the dashboard as "Filtered by AI". | | "Grey zone" (between the threshold and ≈80) | A signal is created and waits for your review in the Feed - in both Copilot and Autopilot. The AI is not sure, so a human decides. | | High confidence (≈80+) | A confident signal. In Copilot - a draft awaiting your approval; in Autopilot the reply is sent automatically. | Where the threshold is set The threshold lives in the analyst agent, not in the campaign - the same logic as with replies: settings live in agents. Open Agents → the analyst card: the threshold field is editable, the scale is 0-100, and the default is 50. The current value is also visible on the agent card in the list. A higher threshold = fewer signals, but cleaner ones; a lower one = more signals, but with noise. What this means in practice - Too much noise in the Feed - make the micro-context more specific, especially the "who is NOT a lead" half: that is exactly what cuts off lookalike posts (job ads, roundups, personal reflections). - Too few leads - lower the threshold in the analyst agent, broaden your keywords (for Telegram use synonyms; for Threads/Reddit/LinkedIn/X/Bluesky/Hacker News use single words, with inflected forms as separate keys), or check whether the "Only messages with my words" toggle has choked the flow. The weekly campaign review in the Telegram bot will point out the diagnosis for you. - Autopilot sends things it should not - a narrow micro-context is more reliable than any threshold: an AI that knows exactly who to look for is less often "confidently wrong". â„šī¸ Note: signals from the history scan are never sent automatically, no matter how high the confidence - they always wait for your review. Message history scan

Live monitoring only catches new messages. So that you do not lose the people who wrote recently, the wizard has two tools for working with the past. Testing your words BEFORE launch On the "Limits and launch" step the wizard runs your keywords against the history of the selected chats and shows how many matches they would have produced - before you spend anything. The estimate is based on a sample of recent messages, not on the entire history. This answers the main question of any new campaign: are the words too broad (hundreds of matches means noise and spending) or too narrow (zero matches means silence). Adjust the words right in the wizard until the number looks reasonable. "Scan the last 24 hours" A toggle on the launch step: - On - we will check the last 24 hours across all channels of the campaign and find leads you might have missed. Every message from history checked by the AI costs 1 credit. - Off - we only watch new activity, with no scan of the past and no extra credits. Signals from history appear in the Feed gradually, as the analysis goes on. âš ī¸ Important: replies to signals from history are never sent automatically - even in Autopilot they wait for your review. This protects you from a mass auto-reply to old messages. What it costs The same price as in live mode: an AI check costs 1 credit per message; keyword matches without AI are free. You can see the spending in the "Where the credits went" line on the billing screen - the "history scan" reason is shown separately. 💡 Tip: if a carried-over credit pack is about to expire, a history scan is the fastest way to convert it into leads (see the article "Buying extra credits and their expiry date").

Multiple lead delivery channels and their order

Scenario A found lead should land not only in the Telegrin feed but also in your work tools: a Telegram bot, Slack, email, your own system via a webhook. How it works Deliverers - delivery agents - are attached to a campaign. There can be several at once; each new lead passes through them SEQUENTIALLY, in the order you set. The Telegram bot is now a deliverer just like the rest: there is no separate "notifications to bot" checkbox anymore - it appears in the campaign's deliverer list alongside the others, and that is where you see and manage it. Email is a regular deliverer too (August 2026). It has a cadence - how often to send: one email per lead, a daily digest, a weekly digest, or off. The weekly digest is the default. Delivery order The order is not cosmetic: it decides which system learns about the lead first. 1. Open the campaign → the agents block. 2. Each deliverer has a number next to it - its place in the queue. 3. Use the Deliver earlier / Deliver later arrows to move it one step up or down. The change applies immediately to the next leads. 💡 Tip: put the channel your team reacts to fastest first - first-response speed matters most in lead generation. âš ī¸ Important: if one of the deliverers is temporarily unavailable (for example, the webhook is not responding), the rest of the chain will still receive the lead - one channel's failure does not stop delivery. Too many or too few leads

Campaign precision is a balance between two complaints: "too much noise" and "too quiet". In v2 each one has its own levers, and the weekly campaign review in the Telegram bot makes the diagnosis for you - start there. Too many irrelevant signals Work through the levers from top to bottom - each next one is stronger: 1. Stop words - the cheapest filter: everything it removes is free. Add the noise markers of your sources ("looking for a job", "rent", competitor names). 2. Micro-context - write the "who is NOT a lead" half: that is what cuts off the similar-but-wrong posts (job ads, roundups). Once saved, the AI expands it into a full prompt itself. 3. The "What to check for leads" switch - if it is set to "Every message", switch back to "Only messages with my words": the AI will stop reading everything (and spending a credit on each message read). 4. Sources - look at "Top chats" on the Home page: if one chat produces many signals and zero replies - remove it from the campaign. Too quiet 1. Check whether the campaign is searching at all - quiet campaigns on the dashboard state the reason honestly: the account disconnected, the credits ran out, the campaign is paused. That is fixed faster than any wording. 2. Widen your keywords - but differently for different channels. For Telegram, add synonyms and colloquial phrasings. On Threads/Reddit/LinkedIn/X/Bluesky/Hacker News phrases almost never match (the word goes into the platform's own search) - there single unambiguous words work, and inflected forms go in as separate keywords (details in the keywords article). The wizard shows a trial run of your words against history - zero matches is visible before launch, and the weekly review in the bot names the specific dead word. 3. Add sources - more chats/subreddits on your topic. 4. Soften the micro-context - too strict a description filters out real leads too: check the "AI-filtered" view in the Feed; if there are proper leads in it - restore them with the "This is a lead" button and simplify the description. Quick diagnosis by the funnel The funnel on the Home page (Messages → Keyword matches → Checked by AI → Filtered by AI → Signals) shows exactly where the flow is lost: - many messages, few matches - the words are too narrow; - many matches, almost everything filtered by AI - the words are too broad or the micro-context is too strict; - empty at the top - the problem is with the sources or the account, not with the words. Tip: change one lever at a time and look at the funnel a day or two later - otherwise you will not know what actually helped.
