Signing up and first steps

Signing up takes less than a minute, and Telegrin will try to find your first leads even before you create your first campaign yourself. Signing up On the Create account screen, fill in the fields: - First name and Last name; - Email - the confirmation message goes there; - Password - at least 10 characters, no other requirements; - Website - optional; - What leads are you looking for? - optional, but strongly recommended (see below). Tick the consent box and press Create account. Then open the email and follow the link - once confirmed, you are taken straight inside, with no separate sign-in needed. The test campaign at sign-up If you filled in the What leads are you looking for? field, Telegrin launches a test campaign for you right after sign-up: AI reads your description, picks keywords and collects the first posts on LinkedIn, Reddit and Threads. What is worth knowing about it: - Describe your goal in plain words - for example, "founders who need a CRM" or "apartment renovation contractors in Kyiv". A few words are enough. - A website on its own is not enough - without a description the test campaign does not start. - Results appear in the Feed within a few minutes. There is no separate waiting screen - you can carry on with your setup. - The campaign collects around 50 posts and pauses itself after the first run. You will see it paused in the Campaigns list - that is normal. If you want the search to continue, resume it or create your own. - The run spends part of your trial balance (up to 50 credits out of 1000). 💡 Tip: the test campaign is a fast way to see what signals look like and to understand whether the right keywords were picked. Take a look at it before you build your own. First steps On Home you will see a First steps card with three items. It disappears by itself once you complete all three. 1. Create a campaign - keywords, channels and the connection, all in one wizard. 2. Fill in the company brain - product, advantages and style; the quality of your replies depends on it. 3. Get your first signal - this item counts once you work your first lead in the feed: approve it or send a reply. On a separate line below - Connect the Telegram bot: signals will arrive in your messenger. It is optional, but convenient. Recommended order 1. Fill in the company brain (the Brain section). The fastest way is to paste your website address and let Telegrin build a draft. Without a brain, replies will be generic. 2. Connect a Telegram account if you plan to work with Telegram chats (Settings → Accounts). 3. Create a campaign. Start with one or two channels and a short keyword list. 4. Work through the first signals in the feed. Look at the AI-filtered tab too - it shows exactly what AI dropped; this is the best way to understand whether your search is set up correctly. 5. Adjust your keywords and the analyst's score threshold based on the first few days. âš ī¸ Important: do not switch on automatic reply sending straight away. First look at a few dozen drafts - and only when the texts consistently satisfy you, turn the autopilot on.

Connecting a Telegram account

A Telegram account is needed so Telegrin can read chats and send replies on your behalf. Connect it before you create a Telegram campaign. Open Settings → Accounts and press Connect. Method 1. QR code (the fastest) The panel opens on the QR code straight away. 1. Open Telegram on your phone. 2. Go to: Settings → Devices → Link Desktop Device. 3. Point the camera at the code in Telegrin. The code refreshes by itself while the panel is open - if it has gone stale, just wait for the next one. Method 2. Code from Telegram Under the QR code, press Sign in with a Telegram code. 1. Enter your phone number in international format: +380XXXXXXXXX. It must be the number your Telegram runs on. 2. Press Send the code. 3. Enter the code you receive in the Code from Telegram field. â„šī¸ Note: if you are already signed in to Telegram on any device, the code arrives as a message inside Telegram from the "Telegram" account, not by SMS. Telegrin tells you exactly where the code was sent. The code is valid for a few minutes. If you missed it, press Send it again (available once a minute). Cloud password (two-step verification) If two-step verification is enabled on the account, a Cloud password field appears. Enter your Telegram two-step verification password - this is not the SMS code. How replies should refer to you The last step is choosing a grammatical form: Masculine, Feminine or Prefer not to say. It decides the word endings in generated replies - the equivalent of "he wrote" versus "she wrote" in gendered languages. The step is optional. After that you will see Account connected - it can now be picked as a source in a campaign. Account statuses | Status | What it means | | --- | --- | | Connected | Everything works | | Paused by Telegram | Telegram has temporarily limited the account. It will resume by itself, no need to reconnect - Telegrin shows the approximate wait | | Needs reconnecting | Telegram ended the session. Press Reconnect so campaigns read chats again | How many accounts can be connected The limit depends on your plan, and Telegram and Threads count together: Trial - 2, Starter - 2, Growth - 6, Scale - 20. Disconnecting In the account menu, choose Disconnect. Campaigns that were listening to chats through this account will pause; the leads and conversations you already have stay where they are. Common problems The code does not arrive The most common reason is that you already have an active Telegram session, so the code went inside the app rather than to SMS. Open Telegram on a device where you are signed in and look for the message from the "Telegram" account. If you have no access to Telegram right now, use the QR code sign-in. "This number is already connected in another workspace" One Telegram account can be connected to only one workspace. Disconnect it there first, then connect it here. "Paused by Telegram" Telegram has temporarily limited the number of requests from the account - this is standard platform protection, not an error. Wait: anything from a few minutes to a few hours, and the limit lifts by itself. You can set the campaign up right now; monitoring starts automatically. Monitoring suddenly stopped Check in Telegram: Settings → Devices. If the Telegrin session was ended manually, the account has to be connected again.

The company brain

The company brain is one knowledge base for all your agents: what you sell, why you beat the competition, where you send leads and how you speak. Agents read the brain every time they draft a reply, so it sounds like your company rather than a generic bot. Open the Brain section in the side navigation. â„šī¸ Note: the brain describes what you sell and how you speak. Who counts as a lead is set separately, in the analyst agent's prompt and in the campaign keywords. Five sections | Section | What to write | | --- | --- | | Product | What you sell, for whom, and what you do not take on | | Advantages | Why you beat the competition - agents lean on this in replies | | Links | Website, cases, pricing - where agents send your leads | | CTA | The call to action to offer at the end of a conversation | | Style | Tone and communication rules on your behalf | You do not have to fill in all five at once, but the more detailed the brain, the sharper the replies. Three ways to fill it in Method 1. Build it from your website 1. In the Build the brain from a website or file block, paste the address into the Website or page field. 2. Press Read website. 3. Telegrin reads the page and drafts the sections. 4. Review the text, edit it if needed and press Save. Method 2. Upload a file 1. In the same block, press Choose a file or drag a document into the field. 2. We accept PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD up to 10 MB - a deck, a proposal, a description of your services. 3. Review the draft it produces and press Save. Method 3. Write it by hand Just fill in the section cards in your own words. You can do this at any time, including on top of a draft that was built for you. âš ī¸ Important: nothing is stored until you press Save. While there are unsaved edits, Telegrin shows an Unsaved badge. Rebuilding with AI The Rebuild with AI button rewrites every section from the current text: it tidies it up, removes repetition and makes the wording sharper. The result is saved immediately, so before pressing it, make sure the current text is a basis you are happy with. You can edit anything afterwards. 💡 Tip: a convenient order is to build a draft from your website, add by hand what the website does not say (real prices, limitations, common objections), and only then rebuild. Several brains The number of brains depends on your plan: Starter - one, Growth - up to three, Scale - up to ten. Each brain is a separate description for a particular product or line of business. When there is one brain, it applies to every campaign automatically. Management is in the switcher at the top of the page: - New brain - create another one; - the pencil icon - Rename; - the bin icon - Delete brain. Next to each brain you can see a Campaigns counter - how many campaigns use it. âš ī¸ Important: after a brain is deleted, the campaigns that used it fall back to the default brain. Deletion cannot be undone. If the brain is empty Agents will reply without any context about your business - generically and less precisely. A default brain is created automatically along with your workspace, so filling it in is a matter of minutes, and it has the single biggest effect on reply quality.

Your first campaign: step by step

A campaign is your search: what we look for, where we look, who handles what is found, and how much we spend on it. This article walks through all four steps of the wizard. Before you start - Fill in the company brain - without it, replies will be generic. - If you plan to work with Telegram chats, connect a Telegram account (Settings → Accounts). LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Bluesky and Hacker News need no connection; Threads needs a Threads account. Opening the wizard The Campaigns section → the New campaign button. The wizard opens on the first of four steps: What to look for → Where to look → Agents → Limits and launch. The draft is saved automatically: if you leave the wizard, the campaign stays in the list marked as a Draft, and you can finish it later. Step 1 - What to look for 1. Campaign name - something clear to you, for example "Food delivery - Kyiv". It will show up in the feed and analytics filters. 2. Recommendations. Press Suggest keywords - Telegrin proposes keywords based on the company brain and the words you have already added. Pick the ones that fit; do not add the rest. 3. Keywords. Type a word and press Enter (or a comma). This is the most important field: on LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, X, Bluesky and Hacker News, keywords are the search query, meaning they are exactly what we search by. In Telegram they work as a filter and can be left empty. 4. Micro-context for AI (up to 200 characters) - briefly, who you are looking for. For example: "looking for people asking about food delivery, not about logistics". 5. Stop words - messages containing them are dropped before AI analysis, meaning for free. The classics: "vacancy", "resume", "advertising". âš ī¸ Important about micro-context: an empty field means the search runs on keywords alone, and for Telegram that is free. A filled field switches on an extra AI check by meaning: precision is higher, but every check costs 1 credit. â„šī¸ Note: two optional keyword sets are switched on separately - Include brand keywords (your brand names: AI understands when people are asking about you) and Include competitor keywords (competitor names). Each switch opens its own field for words. Turning a switch off erases that group's words. You do not need to polish the micro-context text yourself: Telegrin does it when you leave the field, and shows an unobtrusive note that lets you restore your own version. Step 2 - Where to look Pick one or several channels - signals from all of them land in one shared feed. Clicking a channel card opens its settings immediately. - Telegram. Pick an account and say what to watch: Chats, Channel posts or Both. Then tick the specific chats from the list - only the ones your account is already in are shown. - Threads. A connected account is needed. The search source is your keywords. - LinkedIn. Nothing to connect. You can narrow the search with author filters: Author industries and Author companies. Posts that fail the filter are dropped before credits are spent. - Reddit. Nothing to connect. Name the subreddits to narrow the search: an empty field means searching all of Reddit, so the AI checks more posts and uses more credits (still 1 credit per checked post). - X (Twitter). Nothing to connect. The search source is your keywords. - Bluesky. Nothing to connect - the search runs through our account. The search source is your keywords. - Hacker News. Nothing to connect - the search runs through Hacker News's official search. The search source is your keywords. Press Done to save a channel's settings. Cancel removes a channel you have just added from the selection. 💡 Tip: start with one or two channels. You can add another at any time, but working out why you have too many or too few signals is much easier when there are only a few sources. Step 3 - Agents The step opens with two options: - Continue without agents - the campaign runs on keywords alone. The cheapest mode. - Set up agents - attach an analyst, a responder and a deliverer. If you pick the second option, you will see collapsed groups: your own agents by type and a separate Our templates group - ready-made agents you can attach right away. The same place has a Telegram alerts for this campaign switch: the lead card lands in the bot. It is on by default. Details are in the article "Step 3: agents in a campaign". Step 4 - Limits and launch 1. Daily budgets - a credit limit per day for each channel. An empty field means no limit. 2. Check cadence. This is no longer something you set - Telegrin runs the checks itself, at a smart pace: it searches more often on the queries that bring leads, and Telegram is checked in real time. Nothing to configure. 3. Scan the last 24 hours - on by default. Telegrin checks the past day's activity and finds leads you may have missed. Switch it off if you only want new messages. 4. On the right - the Summary: keywords, stop words, channels and agents. Check it and press Launch campaign. The campaign appears in the list, and monitoring starts immediately. âš ī¸ Important about credits: an empty scan - when AI checked no messages - is free. You pay only for results: 1 credit for each post AI checks, the same on every channel. What next The first signals appear in the Feed. Have a look at the AI-filtered tab too: it shows exactly what AI dropped and why - the fastest way to understand whether your search is set up correctly.
