The AI gives every checked message a confidence score: how closely it matches your lead as described in the micro-context. The score decides what happens to the message.
Three zones
| Confidence | What happens |
|---|---|
| Below the analyst threshold (50 by default) | No signal is created at all - the message is filtered out as irrelevant. It never reaches the Feed and is counted on the dashboard as "Filtered by AI". |
| "Grey zone" (between the threshold and ≈80) | A signal is created and waits for your review in the Feed - in both Copilot and Autopilot. The AI is not sure, so a human decides. |
| High confidence (≈80+) | A confident signal. In Copilot - a draft awaiting your approval; in Autopilot the reply is sent automatically. |
Where the threshold is set
The threshold lives in the analyst agent, not in the campaign - the same logic as with replies: settings live in agents. Open Agents → the analyst card: the threshold field is editable, the scale is 0-100, and the default is 50. The current value is also visible on the agent card in the list. A higher threshold = fewer signals, but cleaner ones; a lower one = more signals, but with noise.
What this means in practice
- Too much noise in the Feed - make the micro-context more specific, especially the "who is NOT a lead" half: that is exactly what cuts off lookalike posts (job ads, roundups, personal reflections).
- Too few leads - lower the threshold in the analyst agent, broaden your keywords (for Telegram use synonyms; for Threads/Reddit/LinkedIn/X/Bluesky/Hacker News use single words, with inflected forms as separate keys), or check whether the "Only messages with my words" toggle has choked the flow. The weekly campaign review in the Telegram bot will point out the diagnosis for you.
- Autopilot sends things it should not - a narrow micro-context is more reliable than any threshold: an AI that knows exactly who to look for is less often "confidently wrong".
ℹ️ Note: signals from the history scan are never sent automatically, no matter how high the confidence - they always wait for your review.
