Tracking your own posts

Last updated on Sep 03, 2026

A separate type of campaign: Telegrin collects everyone who engaged with your own posts in Telegram and Threads - on Telegram a reaction or a reply, on Threads a reply. Each of them becomes a lead you can message.

⚠️ Important: this mode works in Telegram and Threads. On Telegram we collect both reactions and replies - it is the one channel that names exactly who reacted. On Threads we collect replies only: Threads names who replied to your post, but not who reacted. On LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Bluesky and Hacker News post engagement is not available - there you only get counters without names.

How to create one

Go to Campaigns → the Track your own posts button. This is a simple form, not a wizard.

  1. Name - for example, "channel posts, July".
  2. Account - engagement is read through it, so it has to see the posts: a Telegram account for Telegram posts, a Threads account for Threads posts.
  3. Post links - one per line, in the format https://t.me/channel/123. To get a link, open the post in Telegram and tap Copy link. Below the field, Telegrin counts how many posts you have added.
  4. Collect people who already engaged - how far back to pull existing activity: 1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days. The default is 7. After that we watch for new reactions in real time.
  5. What to do with people who engage - two options (below).
  6. Press Start tracking.

What to do with people who engage

  • Just collect them - people land in the Feed and the Pipeline, and you write to them yourself.
  • Draft a reply - AI prepares the text and you send it with a button on the card. A required field appears, What the reply should say - describe what the message should be about.

ℹ️ Note: sending without confirmation is not set up in this form - you turn it on in the campaign's responder agent.

Groups and channels: an important difference

  • In groups both reactions and replies are collected.
  • In channels Telegram does not show who left a reaction - only the channel admins see that. So from channels we collect replies (comments) only.

What it costs

  • A reaction is free. There is no text in it, AI does not read it, no credit is charged.
  • A text reply goes through an AI check like any other message, if AI processing is on in the campaign.
  • A generated reply to a lead costs 1 credit.

In other words, a campaign that simply collects the people who reacted runs practically for free.

Limits

A campaign can track up to 50 posts; on the trial plan, up to 10.

When this makes sense

  • You publish content and want to work with the people who respond to it.
  • Your audience is more likely to like and comment than to post a direct request.
  • You published a request-style post ("looking for a contractor for...") and are collecting those who replied.

💡 Tip: a reaction is a weaker signal of intent than a direct request in a chat. Do not send these leads hard sales messages: it is better to start by asking whether the topic is of interest in more detail.

Posts published earlier

You can track any post that is already published - a link is all you need. Publishing a new post through Telegrin is not part of this form: publish it in Telegram the usual way first, then add the link here.
