What is a signal?

A signal is a single message or post that AI recognised as matching your campaign's goal. If you sell services, a signal is a request like "can anyone recommend a good designer". If you are looking for a contractor, it is a message from a specialist offering their services.

What is a lead?

A lead is a person you have at least one signal from. If the same person wrote in two chats, you have 2 signals but 1 lead. Leads are shown in the Pipeline section on the New, In progress, Qualified and Rejected stages.

What is a credit?

1 credit = one message checked by AI. The credit is charged for the check itself, whatever the outcome: if AI decides it is not a lead, the credit is still spent.

Everything that does not involve AI is free: collecting messages in Telegram and Threads, stop words, keyword-only campaigns, template replies, reactions to your own posts, and lead delivery.

On LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News, AI checks every post it finds - so each such post costs 1 credit, and a check that finds nothing is free.

Which channels does Telegrin work in?

Telegram, Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News - on any plan. Telegram and Threads need a connected account; the rest do not.

How long until the first signals?

• Telegram - in real time: a signal usually appears within a minute of the message being posted in the chat.
• Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky, Hacker News - on a schedule you choose yourself: from once an hour to once every 12 hours. The first check of a new campaign runs immediately after it is created.
• If you leave Scan the last 24 hours switched on when creating the campaign, Telegrin checks the past day's activity right away - the first signals appear without waiting for new messages.

The main thing is your choice of sources. Pick the chats and keywords where target requests really do appear.

Is this a bot or my own account?

In Telegram and Threads it is your real account: chats are read and replies are sent under its name. To the other person it looks like an ordinary message from you. LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News need no account at all.

Will other people see that I use the service?

No. Nothing changes for the people in your chats. The connection is visible only to you: in Telegram (Settings → Devices) a new active session appears - that is the Telegrin connection.

⚠️ Important: do not terminate this session in Telegram - monitoring will stop and the account will have to be connected again.

Is it safe to connect my account?

Telegrin works through the official Telegram protocol, and the session is stored encrypted. We read only the chats you added to a campaign yourself and never touch your private correspondence. Data protection: TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, Bcrypt cost-12 for password hashing.

You can disconnect the account in one click: Settings → Accounts.

What happens if I run out of credits?

AI processing and the paid channels stop: messages keep arriving but are not processed. Campaigns that run on keywords only, without AI keep producing signals even at a zero balance.

The Settings → Billing page shows a "You are out of credits" message. Work resumes once you top up the balance or when your plan's next allowance is granted.

We also send warning emails when 20% and 5% of the monthly allowance remain.

Can I connect several accounts?

Yes. The number depends on your plan, and Telegram and Threads count together: Trial - 2, Starter - 2, Growth - 6, Scale - 20. Each Telegram campaign uses one account.

Can replies be sent automatically?

Yes, in Telegram and Threads - if the responder agent has Reply automatically switched on. On LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News there is no automatic sending: the agent prepares the text and you publish it.

By default automatic sending is off - the agent only prepares a draft. That is deliberate: satisfy yourself about the quality of the texts first.

Why did my campaign suddenly pause?

The most likely reason is 12 empty checks in a row in an external channel. That means your keywords are finding nothing, so the campaign stops itself. Review the keywords and start it again.

Campaigns also pause if you disconnect the Telegram account they were running through.

Can I delete a campaign?

A campaign can be moved to the archive - it stops working, and the leads it found stay. You can restore it from the archive: after restoring it will be paused, and you have to start it manually.

Why are there so few signals in the feed?

Check these in order:

1. Keywords. On LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News they are the search query - too narrow a list finds nothing. Use the Suggest keywords button in the campaign wizard.
2. The analyst's score threshold. If it is high, AI filters out too much. Look at the AI-filtered tab in the feed - it shows exactly what was dropped and why.
3. Sources. In Telegram - whether the right chats are selected. On Reddit - whether the search is narrowed down to inactive subreddits.
4. Stop words. Check that none of them is cutting off messages you need: a stop word also matches inside another word.
