What Telegrin is and how it works

What Telegrin is for Every day someone is looking for services and products - in Telegram chats, on Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News: "recommend a realtor", "who does SEO?", "looking for a contractor". Tracking all of that by hand is impossible - the deal goes to whoever replies first. Telegrin looks for these messages for you across seven channels at once: Telegram, Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News. It covers two scenarios: - A business looking for clients. Telegrin catches the people who are looking for what you offer right now. - You looking for a contractor or a supplier. A campaign finds the people who offer or sell in the right places. For every message it finds, Telegrin suggests a ready reply. How it works - 4 steps 1. Connect your accounts. Telegram (your real account, not a bot) and/or Threads - in Settings → Accounts. LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News work without a connected account. 2. Fill in the AI-Brain. Tell the AI about your business - by answering a few questions, sharing a link to your website or uploading a file. 3. Create a campaign. Pick channels and sources, set keywords, describe who counts as a lead, connect agents. 4. Get leads. The messages found appear in the Feed together with a ready reply - and are delivered where you work: to the Telegram bot, Slack, email or your CRM via webhook. Step-by-step instructions are in the "Quick start" section. Key concepts - Signal - a message that matches the campaign's goal. It appears in the Feed. - Lead - a person you have at least one signal from. One lead can have several signals. - Credit - the unit of your plan: 1 credit = 1 message read by the AI. Keyword matches without an AI check are free, and so is collecting messages in Telegram and Threads. - Agents - the campaign's helpers: the analyst agent picks out signals, the responder agent prepares replies (Copilot or Autopilot), deliverers route leads to your channels. 💡 Tip: the free filters run first - keywords, stop words, minimum length. Only what passes them reaches the AI (and spends a credit). A campaign can also run with no AI at all - keywords only, for 0 credits. Two search modes - Keyword monitoring - Telegrin watches the sources you choose (Telegram chats, Threads search, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky, Hacker News) and catches messages that match your goal. - Tracking your own posts - who reacted or replied to your post in Telegram or Threads; you can publish the post straight from Telegrin. Who replies and how Replies are handled by the responder agent: reply type (AI text or template), mode and delay. - Copilot - the AI prepares a draft, you review it and send it. - Autopilot - confident replies go out on their own; questionable signals are escalated to you. Where the reply goes is a property of the channel: a direct message in Telegram, a comment under the post in Threads; for LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News you copy the ready text. ⚠️ Important: replies in Telegram are sent from your real account. Channels: Telegram, Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News

Telegrin looks for leads in seven channels: Telegram, Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News. A single campaign can work in several of them at once - results from every channel arrive in one shared Feed. The channels are available on any plan. They differ in three things: whether your own account is needed, how the search works, and whether Telegrin can send the reply for you. Telegrin connects to your account and reads the chats you pick yourself from the list of groups the account is already in. This is not a search across all of Telegram - it is live listening to your chats, which is why a signal usually shows up in the feed within a minute. Keywords here are optional: if you do not add any, AI checks every message in the selected chats by meaning. On the channel card you can choose what to watch: - Chats - we look for people in groups. A message like that becomes a lead you can reply to. - Channel posts - we watch posts in the channels your account follows. These are news on your topic, not leads: a post has no human author, so there is nothing to reply to. - Both - in one campaign, each with its own source list. Telegram is the only channel where Telegrin can see who reacted to or replied to your own post. Details are in the article "Tracking your own posts". Threads A search across all of Threads through official Meta access. Here keywords are the search query, so at least one is required. A connected Threads account is needed both to create a campaign and to publish replies. A reply in Threads is a public comment under the post that was found; there are no direct messages in this channel. ℹ️ Note: the check frequencies available on Threads depend on how many keywords you have - Meta limits the number of searches per day. With many keywords, frequent checks become unavailable, and Telegrin says so directly in the campaign settings. We do not cap the number of keywords - we only suggest checking less often. LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News These channels work the same way and need no connection at all - Telegrin searches them on its own. Keywords here are the search query too, so at least one is required. We do not send the reply. The agent drafts the comment text, you press Copy comment and publish it yourself. Any other channel works the same way until we learn to publish for you. You can narrow the search and save credits at the setup stage: - LinkedIn - author filters: industry and company. Posts that fail the filter are dropped before credits are spent. - Reddit - a list of subreddits. If you name none, we search all of Reddit, so the AI checks far more posts and uses more credits (still 1 credit per checked post). ⚠️ Important: on LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News a credit is charged for every post the AI checks - 1 credit per post, not only for the ones that turn into leads. A check that finds nothing is free. So tighter filters and rarer checks save you real money here. 💡 Tip: after 12 empty checks in a row a campaign pauses itself because its keywords are matching nothing. If that happens, review your keywords: most likely they are too narrow. What to pick at the start - Your audience sits in specialist Telegram groups you have access to - start with Telegram: collecting there is free. - You sell B2B and want to reach people outside your own chats - add LinkedIn with industry filters. - Your niche is actively discussed in communities - add Reddit, and be sure to name the subreddits. - You run a public Threads account - add Threads: collecting there is free too, and you can reply straight away.

Agents: analyst, responder and deliverer

Agents are AI teammates that handle signals for you. Each agent has one role and one area of responsibility. There are exactly three roles. | Role | What it does | | --- | --- | | Analyst | Scores every message and filters out the noise | | Responder | Writes replies and comments on your behalf | | Deliverer | Sends approved leads to your CRM or messenger | Agents live in the Agents section and are attached to campaigns. One agent can work in several campaigns at the same time. Analyst Reads the messages that got through the free filters and decides: lead or not. In the prompt you describe the profile of your lead - who counts as a target and who definitely does not. The main setting is the Score threshold (0-100). Messages scored below the threshold never reach the feed. The standard value is 50. - Too many irrelevant signals - raise the threshold. - Too few signals - lower the threshold: you will get more, but some will be less precise. 💡 Tip: launch a new campaign with the standard threshold, let it run for a few days, and adjust the value based on the real quality of the signals. The analyst's work costs 1 credit per checked message. Responder Drafts the reply text for each lead, based on the company brain and on its own prompt. How it replies The responder settings include a Reply automatically switch: - Off (the default) - the safe mode: the agent drafts a reply in every channel and you send it. - On - the agent sends the reply itself, without your approval, in the channels where we can publish. In the other channels it still only drafts the text. ⚠️ Important: automatic sending works only in Telegram and Threads. On LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News the agent always prepares a draft that you copy and publish yourself. How the reply is delivered depends on the channel, and Telegrin shows this right on the agent card: - By direct message - Telegram; - By public comment - Threads; - By copying - LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News. Reply language The agent replies in the language of the lead's post or message - this rule outranks the prompt and the company brain. Separately, you can say what to do when the language cannot be determined (a short phrase with no clear language markers): take the language from the prompt, or use Ukrainian, Russian or English. Generating a reply costs 1 credit. Deliverer Passes approved leads outside Telegrin. Create a deliverer from a ready-made template - the template already states where the leads go. Delivering leads spends no credits. Ready-made templates The Agents page has a Ready-made templates gallery - agents with prompts already written for common tasks: a strict qualifier, finding contractors, finding candidates, an assistant responder, a comment generator, a Reddit responder and others. Press Use - the agent is created with the prompt prefilled, and you can edit it freely afterwards. A template only fills in the text; it hard-codes nothing. Your own agent The Create agent button on the Agents page. Pick a type, optionally use a template as a starting point or start From scratch, give it a name and write the prompt. Next to the prompt field there is an Improve button. It shows the suggested version separately, without changing your text - then you decide: Accept, Edit or Keep original. ℹ️ Note: the prompt does not need to repeat the company description, the product and the tone of voice - the agent takes all of that from the company brain. The prompt answers a different question: how exactly to behave in this role. What works with what The analyst and the responder read the company brain; the deliverer does not. The deliverer has no prompt: it writes nothing, it only passes things on. A campaign can be launched without agents at all - then it runs on keywords alone. What is a signal? A signal is a single message or post that AI recognised as matching your campaign's goal. If you sell services, a signal is a request like "can anyone recommend a good designer". If you are looking for a contractor, it is a message from a specialist offering their services. What is a lead? A lead is a person you have at least one signal from. If the same person wrote in two chats, you have 2 signals but 1 lead. Leads are shown in the Pipeline section on the New, In progress, Qualified and Rejected stages. What is a credit? 1 credit = one message checked by AI. The credit is charged for the check itself, whatever the outcome: if AI decides it is not a lead, the credit is still spent. Everything that does not involve AI is free: collecting messages in Telegram and Threads, stop words, keyword-only campaigns, template replies, reactions to your own posts, and lead delivery. On LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News, AI checks every post it finds - so each such post costs 1 credit, and a check that finds nothing is free. Telegram, Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News - on any plan. Telegram and Threads need a connected account; the rest do not. How long until the first signals? - Telegram - in real time: a signal usually appears within a minute of the message being posted in the chat. - Threads, LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky, Hacker News - on a schedule you choose yourself: from once an hour to once every 12 hours. The first check of a new campaign runs immediately after it is created. - If you leave Scan the last 24 hours switched on when creating the campaign, Telegrin checks the past day's activity right away - the first signals appear without waiting for new messages. The main thing is your choice of sources. Pick the chats and keywords where target requests really do appear. Is this a bot or my own account? In Telegram and Threads it is your real account: chats are read and replies are sent under its name. To the other person it looks like an ordinary message from you. LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News need no account at all. Will other people see that I use the service? No. Nothing changes for the people in your chats. The connection is visible only to you: in Telegram (Settings → Devices) a new active session appears - that is the Telegrin connection. ⚠️ Important: do not terminate this session in Telegram - monitoring will stop and the account will have to be connected again. Is it safe to connect my account? Telegrin works through the official Telegram protocol, and the session is stored encrypted. We read only the chats you added to a campaign yourself and never touch your private correspondence. Data protection: TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, Bcrypt cost-12 for password hashing. You can disconnect the account in one click: Settings → Accounts. What happens if I run out of credits? AI processing and the paid channels stop: messages keep arriving but are not processed. Campaigns that run on keywords only, without AI keep producing signals even at a zero balance. The Settings → Billing page shows a "You are out of credits" message. Work resumes once you top up the balance or when your plan's next allowance is granted. We also send warning emails when 20% and 5% of the monthly allowance remain. Can I connect several accounts? Yes. The number depends on your plan, and Telegram and Threads count together: Trial - 2, Starter - 2, Growth - 6, Scale - 20. Each Telegram campaign uses one account. Can replies be sent automatically? Yes, in Telegram and Threads - if the responder agent has Reply automatically switched on. On LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News there is no automatic sending: the agent prepares the text and you publish it. By default automatic sending is off - the agent only prepares a draft. That is deliberate: satisfy yourself about the quality of the texts first. Why did my campaign suddenly pause? The most likely reason is 12 empty checks in a row in an external channel. That means your keywords are finding nothing, so the campaign stops itself. Review the keywords and start it again. Campaigns also pause if you disconnect the Telegram account they were running through. Can I delete a campaign? A campaign can be moved to the archive - it stops working, and the leads it found stay. You can restore it from the archive: after restoring it will be paused, and you have to start it manually. Why are there so few signals in the feed? Check these in order: 1. Keywords. On LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, X (Twitter), Bluesky and Hacker News they are the search query - too narrow a list finds nothing. Use the Suggest keywords button in the campaign wizard. 2. The analyst's score threshold. If it is high, AI filters out too much. Look at the AI-filtered tab in the feed - it shows exactly what was dropped and why. 3. Sources. In Telegram - whether the right chats are selected. On Reddit - whether the search is narrowed down to inactive subreddits. 4. Stop words. Check that none of them is cutting off messages you need: a stop word also matches inside another word.
